Focuses on calming the body. Gentle, slow and watery. The main phrase cycles and repeats throughout, piano and guitar alternating, merging at the end.

The listener is beginning to feel relaxed and quiet. The inner state is able to reflect, observe thoughts, detach. Build energy.

Fresh, unencumbered, quiet. The beginnings of mental clarity, like when you first wake up in the morning.

The music facilitates the opportunity to go a little deeper into self. Working with the state of the body-mind relationship. Be aware.

An inner battle with thoughts, and the many selves that arise to take you away to non-reality. A reminder that inner peace is separated only by our constant stream of thought.

A floating collective
Po Childs & Company, also known as the Two-Up Music Show, is a hybrid storytelling act with a dramatic sense of the wonders held within musical expression. They have been referred to as mad minstrels, or as comparable to bardic characters, theatrical fools and part-time philosophers.
The line-up floats, but the basic sound is not lost. Sampling and looping hardware sit alongside conventional instruments: guitars, flute, bush sax, Tibetan bowls and percussion.
The mission is entertainment and therapy for nursing homes and aged care facilities, Down syndrome and autism respite centres, charities and their fundraisers, community centres and annual community events. It came from a long-held passion for musical theatre and performance art.
The sound of Po Childs & Company is created and renewed afresh with each performance.
